World Citizens Assembly 2001:
Creating A Culture of Peace For The 21st Century
March 30 - April 3, 2001

Creating a Culture of Peace for the 21st Century
The Activity for Signing the Peace Declaration Begins

You and I are all world citizens. Please support this activity and just do it now! "This could be the foundation of a new civilization based on respect toward all life, with peace in our hearts and love of the world, with better communication among human beings, through cultural exchange programs, through peace education, and where human progress is measured not merely in economic gain, but through compassion and caring for others." (Quoted from the "Peace Declaration")

WORLD PEACE

IMAGINE THIS . . .

IF WE HAD WORLD PEACE . . .

A World Citizens Assembly of ALL citizens on planet Earth. Taking time out to Pray (in all the world's religions/beliefs) for world peace, love and compassion for all our brothers and sisters worldwide. Taking time to THINK how we (altogether) could work to solve the worlds problems with Action Plans, instead of holding global meetings to disucss the world's problems, and then debate how bad those conditions are.

IMAGINE THIS . . .

IF WE HAD WORLD PEACE . . .

It is estimated that the next World War may be fought over water and food. And there are some 70 wars currently under way, with 95% of the casualties being women and children. While the developed worlds economies are reporting booming times in stock markets, business takeovers, mergers, global business expansion, creation of low-paying no-benefits jobs, wealth is compounding, rich getting richer, poor poorer, and the marginalization of the middle classes. Over a BILLION People are starving to death. 1/3 of the world's citizens have no electricity, no light to even see. Many other conditions throughout the world are spiraling out of control; Getting worse due to the cuts in social programs and the massive "globalization" and "structural adjustments" under way, even within our developed economies.

IMAGINE THIS . . .

IF WE HAD WORLD PEACE . . .

If we could stop spending money on the Defense Industry worldwide and slash Military Budgets . . . IMAGINE .

We could feed all of the people on our only living space, Earth. We could house and give the best of medical services to everyone. We could make education available for every citizen.

Most of all, we could free all of us on this planet to think, create, and innovate to take positive action steps to improve living conditions for all. We could then go out into space to the Moon, then Mars, and who knows where next. We could probe deeper into space. Mine the bottom of the oceans and the asteroids in space. We could control and reverse deteriorating environmental conditions. Really do something about the Drug Issues. Police more effectively the criminals and violators of crimes against humanity all over the Globe.

IMAGINE A . . .

World Citizens Assembly 2001:
Creating A Culture of Peace For The 21st Century

Any country that does not imagine this, does not imagine the powerful peace and love message of the World's Olympic Games , and does not believe in World Peace and Love for All Humanity!
