Highly effective, and a powerful process for getting your problems solved by your own people."
- Mayor, Accra, Ghana addressing UN Ambassadors inside the UN in 1999.

"THE CONTRIBUTION OF TECHNOLOGIES (INCLUDING NEW AND EMERGING ONES) TO THE INDUSTRIALIZATION OF DEVELOPING AND THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES FOR THE STRENGTHENING OF REGIONAL AND GLOBAL INTEGRATION"

The over-all focus was on "Team Building" of cross-sectors of government, business, ngos and other civil society groups. And, the "Problem Solving & Decision Making" process of empowerment of the human capacity to analyze, target, prioritize, and tackle the most pressing problems of their country with specific "Plans of Action." The uses of new and emerging sciences and technologies were considered and applied to the speeding up of a Least Developed Country and Developing Country. Any and all country problems were looked at in the urban and rural areas. Special emphasis was placed on the economic, social, and industrialization development of the rural areas.

This program was conducted in cooperation with United Nations Head Scientists from the UN's "Bureau of Science & Technology," in Europe, individuals from other UN Organizations, many accredited UN NGOs, global universities, and private sector businessmen..

This program was designed to have a "life-after-the-program," so that it never ends! It was designed to empower and ennoble the Ghana teams to work beyond the specific program, using what they learned as an on-going process of solving their problems. Use of the internet and worldwide web was stressed to link the teams to experts outside of Ghana to assist in helping them solve their problems long after the program was completed in Accra.

This program was highly successful for the people who participated, and has been requested by many other African countries since 1994.

Great leaps forward in sciences and technologies since 1994 make this program even more powerful and useful to Developing Countries. This program focuses on the country's actual key problems; and develops teams with problem-solving and decision making tools and techniques to solve their own problems. It empowers the teams, and gives them confidence to use global resourses to accomplish their target goals.
