March 9, 2010, New York – Chilean vocalist and composer Claudia Acuña, together with (le) Poisson Rouge presents MUSIC FOR CHILE: A Benefit Concert on Saturday, March 20, 2010, from 7-10pm. Hosted by Ambassador Heraldo Muñoz, the event will feature performances from organizer Claudia Acuña and her band which features Jon Cowherd (piano); Mark Kelley (bass) Yayo Serka (drums) and Juancho Herrera (guitar). There will also be a special guest appearance by the incomparable Meshell Ndegeocello. Other performances throughout the evening include Afro-Peruvian legend Eva Ayllón, David Gilmore, Jason Lindner and Chilean pianist Pablo Vergara Quartet, plus others to be announced.

Ticket prices are a $20 suggested donation and all proceeds will go DIRECTLY to Chilean relief efforts.
